Atelier/The Curated Yard

---

The backyard has always held a special place in my heart.  From childhood through today, my love for the outdoors, and most specifically backyards, has only grown. Earthing in the grass, catching fireflies at dusk, sleeping in the shade of a tree, reading in the hammock, or setting a beautiful table for dinner with friends — these are the timeless joys of a yard that stay with you to enjoy year after year.

This deep connection to nature is what inspired me to create The Curated Yard. This design studio is my personal passion project. There’s nothing I love more than transforming ordinary outdoor spaces — porches, docks, terraces, yards, decks, patios, sleeping porches, and entryways — into unforgettable oases, and turning sheds, barns, boathouses, studios, greenhouses, and more into curated accessory dwelling units (ADUs) and retreats just for you.

"Working with you to bring these peaceful, custom sanctuaries to life is my absolute favorite thing to do. It's a gift to design spaces where you can retreat, unwind, and gather with the people you love."
